Join us for a wonderful evening of cheese, wine and song hosted by local broadcaster and travel writer, Mark Cummings.
Thames Head Singers will bring you a selection of choral pieces, ranging from hearty anthems to beautiful folk tunes, all by composers with Gloucestershire connections, including Parry, Holst, Vaughan Williams, Pearsall and Finzi. We will also present the debut of some exciting new music composed locally. Directed by Andrew Hopwood and accompanied by Julian Elloway.
During the evening Mark will talk in his inimitable style about the composers and their various corners of the county, with excerpts from his book ‘Glorious Gloucestershire’.
Cheese, wine and other delights from top local producers will be served before the performance and during the interval.
So please join us for an entertaining evening of delightful food, music and insights into our much-loved county.
