Time and Tide – songs of summer and the sea
Directed by Andrew Hopwood and Peter Tims
Sit back and enjoy a midsummer evening of music infused with the essence of summer and the sea.
We will be celebrating 100 years of Stanford with 5 of his pieces including ‘The Blue Bird’, and ‘Beati Quorum Vir’. Andrew Hopwood will be our baritone soloist for Stanford’s classic, ‘Songs of the Sea’, directed by Peter Tims and accompanied by Julian Elloway.
We will also be performing works by Faure, Diemer, Sting, Vaughan-Williams and Elgar.
We are proud to support Mindsong, a Gloucestershire charity that works with people living with dementia and their families, bringing joy through singing and music.
The bar will be open from 6.45pm for pre-concert drinks and afterwards for a relaxing catch up.
Tickets £15 (under 16s free, low income £10).
