Andrew Hopwood
An experienced singer and teacher, Andrew studied voice at the Birmingham Conservatoire and worked for 20 years as a professional singer with Opera North in Leeds and for Scottish Opera.
He continues to sing himself (as he feels it’s important to practise what he preaches!) and currently performs with a Bath based opera group called Opera Sulis. Andrew teaches singing across a broad range of abilities in the Gloucestershire area and is a member of The Association of Teachers of Singing (AoToS.)
Andrew has experience in conducting a number of choirs, choral societies and orchestras and has been with the Thames Head Singers since 2012.
